Sustainability is about meeting the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet the needs of tomorrow. It is a balance between environmental protection, social justice, economic well-being and diversity.

Monash draws together researchers whose focus spans the environmental, engineering, social, and economic aspects of sustainability and is well placed to provide real solutions to global challenges.
