Invalidation of Enrolment

Invalidation for Non-Payment of Amenities/Tuition Fees

An encumbered student who makes no contact with the University concerning the debt will be invalidated. The student's enrolment is terminated or cancelled as at the date the fees were due. No records are kept of the enrolment.

Students wishing to re-activate their enrolment must pay a re-instatement fee as well as any outstanding payment in full before their enrolment will be reinstated. Faculties will determine whether a student may be re-admitted to the course in which the invalidation occurred.

Students who have previously been invalidated cannot enrol at Monash until all previous debt is paid.

International students whose enrolment is invalidated for non payment of fees will be reported to Monash International who subsequently report to the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA) for breach of visa conditions.
