Monash has recently released its second Triple Bottom Line (TBL) report, which features a number of highly positive environmental outcomes for the university.
The 2003 TBL report, prepared by the Monash Environment Institute (MEI), measured the university's performance in the areas of society and environment, and provided information on the implementation and progress of operations-based sustainability initiatives.

The Monash University Library has introduced state-of-the-art equipment that is bringing archival microform collections to life, and into the digital age.
The new microscanners enable Monash's vast collection of microforms (microfiche and microfilm) to be viewed, digitised, emailed and printed.

Two Monash professors have been appointed to the Australian Research Council (ARC)
College of Experts.
Professor David Abramson, from the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering,
and Professor Graeme Shanks, from the School of Business Systems, will join the
Mathematics, Information and Communications Sciences panel. |
