Sun shines on Monash Open Day

More than 38,500 eager students took the opportunity to explore Monash's Victorian campuses over the Open Day weekend on Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August. The university's Peninsula campus enjoyed its biggest Open Day in three years with almost 2500 prospective students getting a taste of university life.

 
     

Monash goes greener

As part of its Greenhouse Challenge Agreement with the Federal Government, Monash has signed an agreement to buy 10 per cent of its electrical supply from renewable or 'green' energy sources in 2004 and 2005.

 
     

Monash IVF pioneer wins international recognition

Monash IVF pioneer Professor Alan Trounson has been awarded the 2004 Bertarelli Foundation Award in Reproductive Health for his outstanding contribution to the field of assisted reproductive technologies.
