The world's largest stem cell-dedicated research facility was opened at Monash's Clayton campus last week.
The Federal Minister for Education, Science and Training, Dr Brendan Nelson, and the Victorian Treasurer and Minister for Industry and Innovation, Mr John Brumby, officiated at a joint ceremony to mark the opening.
