Synchrotron shines at open day

More than 12,000 people visited the Australian Synchrotron at an open day at the university's Clayton campus last weekend. The open day was the only opportunity for the general public to walk inside the synchrotron machine tunnels before construction of the machine commences next month.

 
     

University's first computer out of hiding

Monash's first computer has been cleaned up, ready for its new home in the Monash Museum of Computing History at the Caulfield campus.
