Research in tsunami-affected regions

Vice-chancellor Professor Richard Larkins has established the Monash University Tsunami Response Group to identify how the university could best help areas affected by the tragic tsunami on 26 December.

As well as identifying needs of the region and looking at ways the university can best help meet those needs, the group is developing a database of all Monash researchers working on projects related to the region.

Anyone who has or is doing work in the area should send brief details of their projects to leanne.hunt@arts.monash.edu.au or phone Leanne on extn 52151.
