Blue Sky Forum on the Convergence of IT and Biotech

Monash University , through Monash Commercial and in conjunction with the InnovationXchange Network, BioMelbourne Network and BioInformatics Australia , is conducting a Blue Sky Forum.

When: Wednesday 9 March, 3.30 pm
Where: Lecture theatre S3, building 25, Clayton campus, followed by refreshments at the STRIP.

The keynote speaker is Dr Caroline Kovak, general manager of IBM Healthcare and Life Sciences. Dr Kovak will lead the discussion on the convergence of information technology and healthcare that is driving the acceleration of drug discovery and improvements in healthcare delivery.

She will be joined by a panel of specialists to explore trends in e-health, bioinformatics, proteomics and emerging applications.
