Synopsis: Projects requiring research and application in expressive typography, logo and corporate identity design, brochure design, posters, calendars, self-promotion, editorial layout, packaging, visualising and finished art.
Objectives: On successful completion of this unit, students will: 1.use skilful art direction and appropriate creative and effective problem-solving strategies; 2.work confidently within the constraints of a specific brief with due regard to time, cost and production considerations; 3.demonstrate competence in computer skills, visualising, art preparation and professional presentation of design solutions.
Assessment: Four major projects: 100%
