Development Economics, Economics of Education and Health, Social Networks, Corruption, Economics of Immigration


I am a Development Economist. My recent research focuses on education, social networks, microfinance, petty corruption, and risk-sharing mechanisms of households. I also work on economics of international migration. I am particularly interested in issues that can generate public policy interest. I am involved extensive field works including running experiments and conducting randomized controlled trials. My research have been funded by UK ESRC, ARC, AusAID (DFAT) and IGC.
