To date my research has focussed on addressing and investigating issues in current bra design, to allow this piece of clothing, worn most days by most women, to be a help not a hindrance. My primary expertise is in the area of Biomechanics and Exercise Science I completed my PhD in 2013, and have Bachelor of Sceince in Human Movement Science.

I currently have 21 peer-reviewed publications, with many in the highest ranking journals in our field and currently have a h-index of 15, with publications on which I am an author receiving at least 733. I have 2 conference proceeding and presentations, with a number as an invited speaker. I have co-supervised an Honours student in the area of Biomechanics to completion and am currently co-supervising a PhD student through the School of Physiotherapy at Monash University. I have been successful in receiving numerous awards for my research, including the University of Melbourne Staff Equity Fellowship, the NSW Sporting Injures Best New NSW Talent in Applied Sports Medicine Research Award and the Wendy Ey Women in Sport Award from Sports Medicine Australia. I have strong national and international industry links that will be extremely important in developing an intervention for future research.
