About us

The vision of the School of Biological Sciences is ‘To improve the human condition by providing, in a context of partnerships, the science and science education required to comprehend and forecast biological responses to emerging environments.’ Effect will be given to this vision through a strategy entitled ‘Adaptation and Change in Emerging Environments’ (ACiEe), focussing on emerging infectious diseases, ecological genomics, and the ecology of change.
