ResearchLaurent has a strong background in field and quantitative structural geology as well as 3D modeling of geological structures. One of his research strength lies in the field of potential field data processing, interpretation and inversions and the integration with geological observations. In recent times, Laurent has become strongly interested in improving the current practice while performing potential field inversions and is championing combined geological and geophysical inversions. Laurent is currently employed on a 0.5 FTE position at Monash University and consults to the resources sector in the remaining time. He is one of the founders and principal of a consulting firm based in Melbourne and Broken Hill. In his spare time, Laurent is a keen scuba diver and scuba diving instructor as well as an apprentice sax player (tenor and alto). |
