Why study Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) and Bachelor of Science (Medical Bioscience)?

The course offers students a knowledge of science across a range of disciplines, with a particular understanding and appreciation of medical bioscience and biotechnology in tropical regions.

Disciplines include anatomy, applied immunology, biochemistry, genetics, genomics, human physiology, microbiology, molecular biology, pathology and pharmacology. Students not only develop the skills to use sophisticated equipment, they also learn to work effectively within a team environment in a multidisciplinary setting, particularly in the field of patient care.
