Alternative entry pathways to university study

Monash College diplomas

Monash College diplomas provide a pathway into second year of selected degrees in art and design, arts, business, engineering, health sciences or information technology.

English language courses

Our English language courses are internationally accredited and prepare you for entry into a Monash degree.

Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY)

Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) bridges the gap between your highest qualification and first year Monash University. The course is equivalent to Australian Year 12 and provides access to the full range of Monash University bachelors degrees.

Diploma of Tertiary Studies

The Diploma of Tertiary Studies is a one year full-time course designed as an alternative entry pathway into Monash University. It is offered at the Gippsland and Berwick campuses.

TAFE qualifications

Satisfactory completion of the first year of an associate diploma or completion of an advanced certificate (Certificate IV or above) offered by a TAFE (Technical and Further Education) institute in Australia can be used, in some cases, as an entry pathway to university study.
