Changing your accommodation and welfare arrangements

This information applies if you want to change the accommodation and welfare arrangements already approved by Monash.

Visa condition

• Visa condition 8532 requires students (other than AusAID students) under 18 years old to maintain their accommodation, support and welfare arrangements as provided at time of visa grant.
• If a student wishes to change their arrangements they must seek prior approval from their education provider.

How to change your arrangements

• Select your preferred new arrangement and follow the steps outlined in the checklist provided:
• Change of accommodation only
• Change of caregiver to a:
• Parent, custodian or eligible relative
• Monash-approved caregiver service
• Close family friend
• If your requested change is approved, Monash will update your Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) arrangements form.
