Monash University, as part of a broader agreement with Universities Australia and the Government of the Republic of Chile, welcomes applications from students holding a scholarship under the Becas Chile scheme.

English language requirements

Monash University ensures all students have adequate proficiency in English prior to admissions to courses.

English requirements for postgraduate study

A minimum IELTS test score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.5 in Reading and Listening and at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking. Please note many programs have higher requirements.

Students who do not meet requirements can apply to complete English language bridging programs through the Monash University English Language Centre.
